PhaseControl

Struct PhaseControl

Source
pub struct PhaseControl { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A phase-shifting transformer holding the active power on a monitored branch.

The sensitivity is Variable::PhaseShift against the branch’s own active flow. That pairing matters: a shifter usually regulates its own flow, and AcSensitivity carries a direct \(\partial f/\partial p\) term for exactly that case which, if dropped, flips the sign of the answer on the regulated branch while leaving every other branch correct.

Implementations§

Source§

impl PhaseControl

Source

pub fn new() -> Self

Source

pub fn max_tap_shift(self, steps: i32) -> Self

Source

pub fn report( &self, regulation: &[TapRegulation], tap_changers: &[Option<TapChanger>], ) -> TapControlReport

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl Default for PhaseControl

Source§

fn default() -> Self

Returns the “default value” for a type. Read more
Source§

impl OuterLoop for PhaseControl

Source§

fn name(&self) -> &'static str

Source§

fn invalidates(&self) -> Invalidates

What this loop invalidates when it reports OuterLoopStatus::Unstable. Read by the driver, which then resets or restamps as required. See the module docs.
Source§

fn initialize(&mut self, ctx: &mut OuterLoopContext<'_, '_>)

Called once, before the first solve, with the network in its initial state. The place to record starting tap positions or bus types.
Source§

fn check(&mut self, ctx: &mut OuterLoopContext<'_, '_>) -> OuterLoopStatus

Look at the converged state and either accept it or change something.
