GribFileBuilder

Struct GribFileBuilder

Source
pub struct GribFileBuilder<'a> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Builder for opening GRIB data with explicit scanning, allocation, and center-defined metadata policies.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<'a> GribFileBuilder<'a>

Source

pub fn strict(self, strict: bool) -> Self

Controls whether malformed GRIB candidates abort scanning.

Strict mode is enabled by default. Tolerant mode skips candidates with invalid framing or unsupported edition numbers, while still reporting semantic errors in well-framed GRIB1/GRIB2 messages.

Source

pub fn max_decoded_points(self, max: usize) -> Self

Sets the maximum number of points decoded into a field buffer.

Source

pub fn without_decoded_point_limit(self) -> Self

Disables the decoded-field point limit.

Source

pub fn max_axis_points(self, max: usize) -> Self

Sets the maximum number of coordinates allocated by an axis helper.

Source

pub fn without_axis_point_limit(self) -> Self

Disables the coordinate-axis point limit.

Source

pub fn without_limits(self) -> Self

Disables both decoded-field and coordinate-axis limits.

Source

pub fn local_parameters(self, entries: &'a [LocalParameterEntry<'a>]) -> Self

Supplies GRIB2 local parameter definitions used during indexing.

Source

pub fn grib1_predefined_bitmaps( self, bitmaps: &'a [PredefinedBitmap<'a>], ) -> Self

Supplies center-defined GRIB1 predefined bitmaps.

Source

pub fn open<P: AsRef<Path>>(self, path: P) -> Result<GribFile>

Opens a file through a read-only memory mapping.

Source

pub fn from_bytes(self, data: Vec<u8>) -> Result<GribFile>

Opens an owned in-memory GRIB buffer without copying it.

Source

pub fn from_reader<R: Read>(self, reader: R) -> Result<GribFile>

Reads GRIB data from an arbitrary byte stream.
