MemoryRegion

Enum MemoryRegion

Source
pub enum MemoryRegion {
    GraphStorage,
    IndexBuffers,
    ExecutionBuffers,
    SpillStaging,
}
Expand description

Memory region identifiers for budget partitioning.

The buffer manager divides its budget across these regions, allowing for differentiated eviction policies and pressure tracking.

Variants§

§

GraphStorage

Graph storage: nodes, edges, properties, adjacency lists.

§

IndexBuffers

Index structures: btree, hash, trie indexes.

§

ExecutionBuffers

Query execution: DataChunks, hash tables, sort buffers.

§

SpillStaging

Spill staging area for operators under memory pressure.

Implementations§

Source§

impl MemoryRegion

Source

pub const fn index(&self) -> usize

Returns the array index for this region (for per-region tracking).

Source

pub const fn name(&self) -> &'static str

Returns a human-readable name for this region.

Source

pub const fn all() -> [Self; 4]

Returns all memory regions.
