pub enum LoweringError {
UnknownFunction(String),
UnsupportedExpr(String),
UnboundVar(u32),
InvalidType(String),
}Expand description
Errors that can occur when lowering an IR expression to DataFusion.
Variants§
UnknownFunction(String)
A FunctionCall name has no
DataFusion built-in equivalent.
UnsupportedExpr(String)
An IrExpr variant cannot be lowered yet (e.g. MapLiteral).
UnboundVar(u32)
InvalidType(String)
A genuine Cypher type error caught at planning — e.g. a quantifier
predicate that cannot apply to the list’s element type (x % 2 over a
string list). A deliberate validation rejection (openCypher
InvalidArgumentType), distinct from a capability gap. (#955)
