pub struct BarrierRecord {
pub identity: FileIdentity,
pub generation: u32,
pub directory: bool,
}Expand description
One barrier attempt: the inode it reached and whether that is a directory. A filesystem reuses the inode number of a deleted file, and its creation time repeats within a coarse timer tick, so neither says which file a barrier reached. The inode’s generation number, which the filesystem changes every time it reuses the inode, does.
Fields§
§identity: FileIdentityThe inode the barrier reached.
generation: u32The generation number of that inode (crate::inode_generation).
directory: boolWhether it is a directory.
