A vertex in the graph. Build with Node::new and the builder methods.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.

id: SharedString

Unique id; edges refer to nodes by this.

label: SharedString

Text drawn under the node.

category: SharedString

Vertex type (e.g. Person). Nodes of one category share a palette color.

properties: Vec<(SharedString, SharedString)>

Arbitrary key/value pairs, carried along for the host app (details panels, tooltips).

group: Option<SharedString>

Community / cluster id, typically computed by the database (Louvain, label propagation, …). Members are drawn together, outlined by a hull, and can be collapsed into one node.

color: Option<Hsla>

Overrides the category / group color.

size: Option<f32>

Overrides NodeSizing with a fixed radius, in world units.
