pub enum SelectionChange {
Replace(SharedString),
Toggle(SharedString),
Range {
anchor: SharedString,
to: SharedString,
},
Loaded,
Everything,
Clear,
}Expand description
What a gesture asked the selection to become.
The grid applies none of it. Every variant names rows by identity, and the two “all” variants are kept apart on purpose: a header checkbox can only speak for the rows the host has loaded, and claiming otherwise is the oldest lie in this part of the interface.
Variants§
Replace(SharedString)
A plain click: this row and nothing else.
Toggle(SharedString)
A cmd or ctrl click: add this row, or take it away.
Range
A shift click: everything between the row last operated and this one. The host owns the order, so the host resolves the span.
Loaded
Every row the grid was given — which is every row the host has loaded, and may be fewer than exist.
Everything
Every row that exists, including the ones nobody has loaded. Only ever reported from a control that says that is what it does.
Clear
