BulkBar

Struct BulkBar

Source
pub struct BulkBar { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

The bar that appears over a selection, says how large it is, and offers what can be done to it.

The count is the number of rows the caller says are selected, which is the number the bar states. When more rows exist than the host has loaded, the bar offers the wider intent as a separate, named action rather than quietly claiming the selection already covers them.

Implementations§

Source§

impl BulkBar

Source

pub fn new(ident: impl Into<Ident>, count: usize) -> Self

Source

pub fn total(self, total: usize) -> Self

How many rows exist. When it is larger than the count, the bar offers to widen the selection and says exactly how far.

Source

pub fn noun(self, noun: impl Into<SharedString>) -> Self

What the count is counting, for a surface whose rows are not “rows”.

Source

pub fn action(self, action: impl IntoElement) -> Self

Source

pub fn on_select_all( self, handler: impl Fn(&mut Window, &mut App) + 'static, ) -> Self

Source

pub fn on_dismiss( self, handler: impl Fn(&mut Window, &mut App) + 'static, ) -> Self

Dismissing a bulk bar clears the selection: there is nothing else it could mean, and a bar that hid while the selection stood would leave the typist operating rows they can no longer see.

Trait Implementations§

Source§

Source§

impl IntoElement for BulkBar

Source§

type Element = ViewElement<BulkBar>

Source§

fn into_element(self) -> Self::Element

Source§

impl RenderOnce for BulkBar

Source§

fn render(self, window: &mut Window, cx: &mut App) -> impl IntoElement

Render this component into an element tree. Note that this method takes ownership of self, as compared to Render::render() method which takes a mutable reference.
