TextViewDefaults

Struct TextViewDefaults

Source
pub struct TextViewDefaults { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Application-wide defaults for TextViews that do not provide explicit presentation or syntax-highlighting overrides.

Implementations§

Source§

impl TextViewDefaults

Source

pub fn new() -> Self

Creates defaults that leave every text view as Base renders it.

Source

pub fn with_style(self, style: TextViewStyle) -> Self

Sets the style every text view starts from.

Source

pub fn with_code_block_highlighter<F>(self, highlighter: F) -> Self
where F: Fn(&CodeBlock) -> Vec<(Range<usize>, HighlightStyle)> + Send + Sync + 'static,

Sets the syntax highlighter used for fenced code blocks.

Source

pub fn with_inherit_text_color(self, inherit: bool) -> Self

Sets whether text views without an explicit TextView::style follow the text color their container sets, default false.

The body text takes that color. On a surface inverted from the page, such as a primary fill, links, muted text, code, borders and selection are derived from it too, and the installed syntax highlighter is left out because its colors are made for the page. Enable this only when every window sets a text color at its root, as Component’s does.

Source

pub fn install(self, cx: &mut App)

Installs these defaults for the whole application.

Source

pub fn global(cx: &App) -> Self

Returns the installed defaults, or the Base ones when none were.

Source

pub fn has_code_block_highlighter(&self) -> bool

Whether a syntax highlighter was installed.

Source

pub fn inherit_text_color(&self) -> bool

Whether text views follow the text color their container sets.
