Vendor grouping of dialects. Derived from a Dialect, never stored alongside one.

Names a dialect family, not a configured backend — v2 called this Provider and the two kept getting confused. Which vendor actually serves a dialect is the channel’s business: Anthropic and Google both expose OpenAI-compatible endpoints, and that shows up as channel support, not here.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
