ObjectChecksums

Struct ObjectChecksums

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub struct ObjectChecksums { pub crc32c: Option<u32>, pub md5_hash: Bytes, /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Message used for storing full (not subrange) object checksums.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)§

This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.
§crc32c: Option<u32>

CRC32C digest of the object data. Computed by the Cloud Storage service for all written objects. If set in a WriteObjectRequest, service validates that the stored object matches this checksum.

§md5_hash: Bytes

Optional. 128 bit MD5 hash of the object data. For more information about using the MD5 hash, see Data validation and change detection. Not all objects provide an MD5 hash. For example, composite objects provide only crc32c hashes. This value is equivalent to running cat object.txt | openssl md5 -binary

Implementations§

Source§

impl ObjectChecksums

Source

pub fn new() -> Self

Source

pub fn set_crc32c<T>(self, v: T) -> Self
where T: Into<u32>,

Sets the value of crc32c.

§Example
let x = ObjectChecksums::new().set_crc32c(42_u32);
Source

pub fn set_or_clear_crc32c<T>(self, v: Option<T>) -> Self
where T: Into<u32>,

Sets or clears the value of crc32c.

§Example
let x = ObjectChecksums::new().set_or_clear_crc32c(Some(42_u32));
let x = ObjectChecksums::new().set_or_clear_crc32c(None::<u32>);
Source

pub fn set_md5_hash<T: Into<Bytes>>(self, v: T) -> Self

Sets the value of md5_hash.

§Example
let x = ObjectChecksums::new().set_md5_hash(bytes::Bytes::from_static(b"example"));
