DataFusion

Struct DataFusion

Source
pub struct DataFusion { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Implements a client for the Cloud Data Fusion API.

§Example

let client = DataFusion::builder().build().await?;
// use `client` to make requests to the Cloud Data Fusion API.

§Service Description

Service for creating and managing Data Fusion instances. Data Fusion enables ETL developers to build code-free, data integration pipelines via a point-and-click UI.

§Configuration

To configure DataFusion use the with_* methods in the type returned by builder(). The default configuration should work for most applications. Common configuration changes include

  • with_endpoint(): by default this client uses the global default endpoint (https://datafusion.googleapis.com). Applications using regional endpoints or running in restricted networks (e.g. a network configured override this default.
  • with_credentials(): by default this client uses Application Default Credentials. Applications using custom authentication may need to override this default.

§Pooling and Cloning

DataFusion holds a connection pool internally, it is advised to create one and the reuse it. You do not need to wrap DataFusion in an Rc or Arc to reuse it, because it already uses an Arc internally.

Implementations§

Source§

impl DataFusion

Source

pub fn builder() -> ClientBuilder

Returns a builder for DataFusion.

let client = DataFusion::builder().build().await?;
Source

pub fn from_stub<T>(stub: T) -> Self
where T: DataFusion + 'static,

Creates a new client from the provided stub.

The most common case for calling this function is in tests mocking the client’s behavior.

Source

pub fn list_available_versions(&self) -> ListAvailableVersions

Lists possible versions for Data Fusion instances in the specified project and location.

Source

pub fn list_instances(&self) -> ListInstances

Lists Data Fusion instances in the specified project and location.

Source

pub fn get_instance(&self) -> GetInstance

Gets details of a single Data Fusion instance.

Source

pub fn create_instance(&self) -> CreateInstance

Creates a new Data Fusion instance in the specified project and location.

§Long running operations

This method is used to start, and/or poll a long-running Operation. The Working with long-running operations chapter in the user guide covers these operations in detail.

Source

pub fn delete_instance(&self) -> DeleteInstance

Deletes a single Date Fusion instance.

§Long running operations

This method is used to start, and/or poll a long-running Operation. The Working with long-running operations chapter in the user guide covers these operations in detail.

Source

pub fn update_instance(&self) -> UpdateInstance

Updates a single Data Fusion instance.

§Long running operations

This method is used to start, and/or poll a long-running Operation. The Working with long-running operations chapter in the user guide covers these operations in detail.

Source

pub fn restart_instance(&self) -> RestartInstance

Restart a single Data Fusion instance. At the end of an operation instance is fully restarted.

§Long running operations

This method is used to start, and/or poll a long-running Operation. The Working with long-running operations chapter in the user guide covers these operations in detail.

Source

pub fn list_operations(&self) -> ListOperations

Provides the Operations service functionality in this service.

Source

pub fn get_operation(&self) -> GetOperation

Provides the Operations service functionality in this service.

Source

pub fn delete_operation(&self) -> DeleteOperation

Provides the Operations service functionality in this service.

Source

pub fn cancel_operation(&self) -> CancelOperation

Provides the Operations service functionality in this service.
