Header

Struct Header

Source
pub struct Header(/* private fields */);
Expand description

HTTP headers — a multi-valued map with case-insensitive canonical keys.

Keys are stored in canonical form (“Content-Type”, not “content-type”). Mirrors Go’s http.Header.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Header

Source

pub fn new() -> Self

Source

pub fn canonical_key(s: &str) -> String

Canonical form of a header key: “content-type” → “Content-Type”.

Source

pub fn get(&self, key: &str) -> Option<&str>

Return the first value for the given key, if any.

Source

pub fn set(&mut self, key: &str, value: impl Into<String>)

Set the key to a single value, replacing any existing values.

Source

pub fn add(&mut self, key: &str, value: impl Into<String>)

Add a value to the key without replacing existing values.

Source

pub fn del(&mut self, key: &str)

Remove all values for the given key.

Source

pub fn values(&self, key: &str) -> &[String]

All values for the given key.

Source

pub fn iter(&self) -> impl Iterator<Item = (&str, &[String])>

Iterate over all (key, values) pairs.

Source

pub fn is_empty(&self) -> bool

true if the header map contains no entries.

Source

pub fn write_to(&self, w: &mut impl Write) -> Result<()>

Serialize the headers to wire format (each “Key: value\r\n” line). Does not write the terminal blank line.

Source§

impl PartialEq for Header

Source§

fn eq(&self, other: &Header) -> bool

Tests for self and other values to be equal, and is used by ==.
1.0.0 (const: unstable) · Source§

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

Tests for !=. The default implementation is almost always sufficient, and should not be overridden without very good reason.
