The backend a reading came from. A protocol can expose the same Capability through more than one source; capabilities are routed per source and each is configured independently.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

Api

A protocol’s own HTTP API.

Subgraph

A subgraph (The Graph or equivalent).

OnChain

Direct on-chain reads (JSON-RPC / account decoding).
