Why a fingerprint or a key could not be computed. Every one means “no fingerprint here”, which can only cost a skip.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

NotDeclared

The spec declares no such gate.

MissingPath

A required path does not exist in the tree.

EmptyListing

The listing was empty, which would hash alike on every tree.

Malformed

The listing was not a well-formed ls-tree listing.

Git

git failed, or printed something that is not an object id.
