Expand description

Runtime controls for TCP/Unix transport execution.

Fields§

§max_inflight_batches: usize§reconnect_attempts: usize§reconnect_backoff_ms: u64§auth_token: Option<String>

Per-batch HMAC-SHA256 auth token (legacy, use auth_session_token for performance).

§auth_session_token: Option<String>

Session-level auth token. Does a one-time HMAC handshake at connection setup, then verifies a lightweight monotonic sequence counter per batch. Much faster than per-batch HMAC while maintaining connection-level security.

§use_mtls: bool§cert_chain_path: Option<String>§transport: TransportKind

Transport protocol: Tcp (LAN) or Unix (loopback/local, lower overhead).

§send_buffer_size: usize

Socket send buffer size (SO_SNDBUF). 0 = system default.

§recv_buffer_size: usize

Socket receive buffer size (SO_RCVBUF). 0 = system default.

§use_vectored_io: bool

Use vectored I/O (writev/readv) for zero-copy header+payload writes.

§elems_per_token: usize

Synthetic f32 elements per token in the benchmark/demo payload these pipeline-execution paths generate — they move a stand-in payload through the real transport rather than real model activations (see ghost-link::main’s flow command). Defaults to 16 elements (64 bytes/token), matching the historical hardcoded value so every existing caller keeps identical behavior; the flow CLI raises this to reflect a real FP16/BF16 hidden-state size (e.g. 4096 × 2 bytes ÷ 4 bytes/f32 = 2048 elements/token for a 7B-class model).
