Failure in the framing layer (length prefix, compression, encryption).
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
BadLength
The frame length prefix is malformed (more than 3 bytes, negative, or zero).
FrameTooLarge
The frame is larger than the configured maximum.
DecompressedTooLarge
The declared uncompressed size is larger than the configured maximum.
BadCompression(&'static str)
The zlib stream was corrupt or did not inflate to exactly the declared size.
Decode(DecodeError)
The frame contents could not be decoded (packet id or data-length VarInt).
Io(Error)
I/O error from the underlying transport.
