Options for tensor reading

Fields

validate_alignment: bool

Whether to validate the descriptor offset against GGUF’s minimum 8-byte alignment

compute_checksum: bool

Whether to compute the crate’s non-cryptographic payload checksum.

GGUF carries no reference checksum to verify, so this records a value for caller comparison; it does not establish integrity or authenticity.

decompress_quantized: bool

Whether to decompress quantized data

max_tensor_size: usize

Maximum tensor size to read (0 = no limit)

buffer_size: usize

Preferred buffer size for reading; temporary chunks are capped at 1 MiB.
