GridElement

Struct GridElement

Source
pub struct GridElement { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A non-plot PlotGrid cell: an SVG fragment (patchwork’s wrap_elements, #378). The markup is inserted verbatim, so escape any untrusted text in it. It takes part in the grid’s widths/heights and tags, and is skipped by AxisCollect and legend collection. In the output it is a nested <svg x y width height data-cell="i"> (i = its 1-based position among the grid’s plot and element cells, the same count as a plot’s untagged data-panel) holding the fragment.

Implementations§

Source§

impl GridElement

Source

pub fn fixed(svg: impl Into<String>, width: f64, height: f64) -> Self

A fragment whose coordinates span 0..width × 0..height; the grid scales it into the cell keeping its aspect, centred (letterboxed).

Source

pub fn fill(render: impl Fn(f64, f64) -> String + Send + Sync + 'static) -> Self

A fragment rendered by render(width, height) at the cell’s real size in pixels — for text and tables laid out to fit.
