Where each x’s stack starts (d3-shape’s stack offsets). Non-Zero offsets are meant for non-negative series (streamgraphs).

Variants§

Zero

Stacks rise from 0 (ggplot2’s position_stack).

§

Silhouette

Stacks are centred on 0 (ThemeRiver).

§

Wiggle

Byron & Wattenberg’s wiggle-minimising baseline (d3’s stackOffsetWiggle), re-centred on 0 — the classic streamgraph.
