Call

Struct Call

Source
pub struct Call<State, Context = ProviderCallPlaceholder> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Access to provider-owned state and active-call capabilities.

Provider functions receive this type through #[geam::call]. The macro replaces the placeholder context with one statically tied to the registered provider function.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<'state, State> Call<State, ProviderSharedCall<'state, State>>

Source

pub fn state(&self) -> &State

Source§

impl<'call, Profile, Provider, Return> Call<Provider::State, ProviderActiveCall<'call, Profile, Provider, Return>>
where Profile: HostProfile, Provider: HostProvider<Profile>, Return: HostType,

Source

pub fn state(&mut self) -> &Provider::State

Source

pub fn state_mut(&mut self) -> &mut Provider::State

Source

pub fn equal<Type, Host>( &self, left: &Value<Type, ProviderValueContext<'call, Host>>, right: &Value<Type, ProviderValueContext<'call, Host>>, ) -> bool
where Host: HostType, Host::Value<'call>: Clone,

Compares two generic values with Gleam source equality semantics.

Source

pub fn source_hash<Type, Host>( &self, value: &Value<Type, ProviderValueContext<'call, Host>>, ) -> u64
where Host: HostType, Host::Value<'call>: Clone,

Hashes a generic call-scoped value consistently with source equality.

The result is an execution-local lookup key, not a stable serialized value.

Source

pub fn inspect<Type, Host>( &self, value: &Value<Type, ProviderValueContext<'call, Host>>, ) -> EcoString
where Host: HostType, Host::Value<'call>: Clone,

Returns the canonical source-facing inspection of a generic value.

Source

pub fn list_len<ListType, ItemHost>( &self, value: &Value<ListType, ProviderValueContext<'call, HostListType<ItemHost>>>, ) -> usize
where ItemHost: HostType,

Returns the length of an opaque generic List without decoding an item.

Source

pub fn list_get<ListType, Item, ItemHost>( &mut self, value: &Value<ListType, ProviderValueContext<'call, HostListType<ItemHost>>>, index: usize, ) -> Option<Value<Item, ProviderValueContext<'call, ItemHost>>>
where ItemHost: HostType,

Reads one opaque generic List item as a call-scoped generic value.

Source

pub fn store<Type, Host, Owner, Index>( &mut self, value: Value<Type, ProviderValueContext<'call, Host>>, ) -> Stored<Type, ProviderStoredOutput<'call, Owner, Index, Host>>
where Host: HostType, Owner: ProviderStoredOwner,

Retains one generic source value for the generated external payload that owns the returned field.

Source

pub fn restore<Type, Host, Owner, Index>( &mut self, value: Stored<Type, ProviderStoredInput<'_, Owner, Index, Host>>, ) -> Value<Type, ProviderValueContext<'call, Host>>
where Host: HostType, Owner: ProviderStoredOwner,

Restores one generic value selected from the active external input.

Source

pub fn store_dynamic<Value, Owner>( &mut self, value: Value, ) -> StoredDynamic<Owner>
where Value: ProviderDynamicValue<'call, Profile, Provider, Return>, Owner: ProviderStoredOwner,

Retains one call-scoped generic value with its exact specialized type.

Source

pub fn restore_dynamic<Type, Owner>( &mut self, value: &StoredDynamic<Owner>, ) -> Option<Type::View<'call>>
where Type: ProviderDynamicInput<Profile, Provider, Return>, Owner: ProviderStoredOwner,

Restores an existential value only when its exact specialized type matches the requested generated input codec.

Source

pub fn restore_dynamic_value<Type, Host, Owner>( &mut self, value: &StoredDynamic<Owner>, _type_witness: &Value<Type, ProviderValueContext<'call, Host>>, ) -> Option<Value<Type, ProviderValueContext<'call, Host>>>
where Host: HostType, Owner: ProviderStoredOwner,

Restores an existential value with the exact specialization of an existing call-scoped generic value.

Source

pub fn invoke<Signature, Codec>( &mut self, callback: Callback<Signature, ProviderCallbackContext<'call, Profile, Provider, Return, Codec>>, arguments: Codec::Arguments, ) -> HostResult<Codec::Returned>
where Codec: ProviderCallbackCodec<'call, Profile, Provider, Return>,

Invokes one typed Gleam callback within this active provider call.
