#[non_exhaustive]pub struct OcrResult {
pub text: String,
pub mean_confidence: Option<f32>,
pub word_count: usize,
pub lang: String,
}Expand description
Result of an OCR pass: full text + a structured confidence summary.
Backend-agnostic — concrete adapters (e.g., tesseract::TesseractBackend)
produce values of this shape so the rest of the pipeline does not
hard-code one OCR backend’s surface.
Fields (Non-exhaustive)§
This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional
Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.text: StringExtracted plain text, with original line breaks preserved.
mean_confidence: Option<f32>Mean per-word OCR confidence in [0.0, 100.0]. None when the page
contained no recognizable words.
word_count: usizeNumber of words emitted with confidence >= 0.
lang: StringOCR language tag used (e.g., eng).
