Tick-driven native runtime for embedding gate4agent in an owning app core.
Modules§
- shell_
efficiency - Folds
gate4agent_shell_native::ShellEfficiencyFacts– plain facts aNativeEffectShellaccumulates insidecollect_terminal_framesandreclassify_foreground– into the same “distribution, not an average” contracttick_profileuses forNativeRuntime::tick’s own phases. - tick_
profile - Fixed-window latency profiling for the phases inside
crate::NativeRuntime::tick.
Structs§
- Native
History Config - Native
History Root - Native
Instance Launch Overlay - Host-only launch mutations applied to one exact native PTY instance.
- Native
Launch Environment Overlay - Backward-compatible environment-only overlay used by existing node flows.
- Native
Launch Profile - Host-owned child-process environment policy, absent from the wire protocol.
- Native
Launch Profile Control - Clonable host-local control for selecting profiles without mutable runtime access.
- Native
Launch Profile Descriptor - Revisioned non-secret descriptor for a built-in native launch profile.
- Native
Launch Profile Id - Host-local identifier for a non-wire native launch profile.
- Native
McpServer Launch Overlay - Host-only MCP-server launch overlay for one exact instance, PTY or ACP.

Provider Exit - Native
Provider Operation Error - Native
Runtime - Owns the kernel tick and all native effect workers. Product apps retain
only the bounded handle returned by
NativeRuntime::new. - Native
Runtime Config - Native
Runtime Tick - Native
Session Catalog Authority - Independent read-only authority for projecting provider-native history into bounded session metadata. It does not create kernel or provider sessions.

Session Selection Resolution - Physical
Exit Ack - Provider
Operation Key - Provider
Supervisor Fault - Provider
Supervisor Snapshot - Scoped
Native Session Catalog Entry - Scoped

Contract Resolution - Vendor
Launcher Identity - Vendor
Version Probe Cache - Bounded host-local cache keyed by provider, platform, and exact launcher identity. A metadata or content identity change evicts the prior entry for the same canonical path fingerprint before the new result is inserted.

Traits§
- Native
Child Environment Resolver - Resolves an exact, declared environment overlay at native spawn dispatch.
- Native
Provider Executor - A reviewed provider adapter with fixed launch policy.
- Native
Provider Operation - Provider-specific ownership of one physical operation.
Functions§
- orca_
home_ roots - Pinned Orca-compatible roots beneath an explicitly supplied native home.
- probe_
installed_ vendor_ version - Probes one exact, absolute launcher without inheriting the parent process
environment. The returned value contains no child output, environment
values, launcher path, or command line. Windows accepts an exact
.exeonly; command-script wrappers degrade to raw passthrough instead of adding a shell interpreter to this probe path. The deadline covers launcher fingerprinting, child execution, capture, and the post-execution identity check. - resolve_
vendor_ contract - Resolves a pure runtime contract from already captured vendor
--versionoutput. It never launches a process and never rejects the raw PTY lifecycle.
