The evidence-selected split for a whole hybrid dictionary: the per-atom curved-vs-linear choices and the dictionary-level aggregates the EV-vs-Θ frontier reports against.

Fields§

§atoms: Vec<HybridAtomChoice>

One adjudicated choice per atom slot, in slot order.

§total_negative_log_evidence: f64

Σ NLE across the selected per-atom parameterizations — the dictionary’s summed rank-aware Laplace negative-log-evidence (lower wins). Because each slot picks the argmin over {curved contribution, best straight line to the response residual}, this is ≤ the sum of the per-slot LINEAR-candidate NLEs. The linear baseline is the best straight line fit to each atom’s leave-this-atom-out RESPONSE residual (#1202), the curved family’s nested Θ = 0 member on common data — so this is a genuine data-level match-or-beat dominance, not a post-hoc curve-simplification one.

§total_parameters: usize

Σ P across the selected parameterizations — the dictionary’s total free-parameter price (the matched-active-budget accounting).

§curved_atom_count: usize

Count of slots that selected the curved parameterization.
