pub enum HessianSource {
Analytic,
BfgsApprox,
EfsFixedPoint,
HybridEfsFixedPoint,
}Expand description
How the Hessian will be obtained for the outer optimizer.
Variants§
Analytic
Exact analytic Hessian provided by the objective.
BfgsApprox
No explicit Hessian; BFGS builds a rank-2 approximation from gradient history.
EfsFixedPoint
No explicit Hessian or gradient needed. EFS uses traces and Frobenius norms from the inner solution directly.
HybridEfsFixedPoint
Hybrid EFS + preconditioned gradient for ψ coordinates. EFS traces for ρ coords, trace Gram matrix + gradient for ψ coords.
