pub enum TransformationNormalParameterization {
DirectAlpha,
}Expand description
Coefficient parameterization of a saved transformation-normal (CTN) fit.
The direct-α cutover (gam#2306) made the transform
h(y, x) = α_0(x) + Σ_k α_k(x)·I_k(y) LINEAR in the coefficient matrix,
with per-covariate-row monotonicity enforced by the factored Khatri-Rao
positivity cone rather than the pre-cutover squared-γ latent chart. The
marker exists so a reader can reject coefficients written under any other
chart as a typed mismatch instead of silently reinterpreting them.
Variants§
DirectAlpha
Direct-α chart: h linear in the coefficient matrix A, monotonicity
certified by the factored Khatri-Rao cone α_k(x_i) = ψ_iᵀ A[k,:] ≥ 0.
