Continue

Keep running; the host is reachable, so a record PUT (live metrics) is worthwhile.

§

ContinueUnreachable

Host unreachable — keep running (the stream must not die with the control plane), skip the record PUT this beat.

§

Stop

Unwind to STOPPED: a stop request, a superseded/refused record, or an unexpected status. The host logs its own specifics; the engine just performs the ordered shutdown.
