#[non_exhaustive]pub enum Percentile {
P95,
P99,
P999,
}Expand description
How often a gate rejects a measurement that was fine: the percentile of the chi-square distribution its threshold sits at.
Named rather than continuous, because each name is an exact tabulated quantile and a
continuous p would need an inverse normal CDF and the Wilson–Hilferty approximation at
three degrees of freedom — code a reader has to check, for percentiles nobody asks for.
#[non_exhaustive] because it is an input, constructed and rarely matched, so a new
percentile costs callers nothing.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
P95
95 %: one good measurement in twenty rejected.
P99
99 %: one in a hundred.
P999
99.9 %: one in a thousand.
