Enum Error

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum Error { Certificate { path: PathBuf, source: BoxError, }, NoCertificate { path: PathBuf, }, PrivateKey { path: PathBuf, source: BoxError, }, ClientCa { path: PathBuf, source: BoxError, }, CertificateAndKey { cert: PathBuf, key: PathBuf, source: BoxError, }, Setup(BoxError), }
Expand description

Why the certificate, key or client CA cannot be used. The underlying error is the source, boxed so that furnace’s API does not depend on the TLS library’s error types.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

Certificate

A certificate file (--tls-cert or --tls-client-ca) cannot be read as PEM

Fields

§path: PathBuf

The file

§source: BoxError

What went wrong

§

NoCertificate

A certificate file holds no certificate

Fields

§path: PathBuf

The file

§

PrivateKey

--tls-key holds no PEM private key

Fields

§path: PathBuf

The file

§source: BoxError

What went wrong

§

ClientCa

A client CA certificate cannot be used to verify clients

Fields

§path: PathBuf

The --tls-client-ca file

§source: BoxError

What went wrong

§

CertificateAndKey

The certificate and key do not make a server configuration: the key is not one the server takes (RSA, an unsupported curve) or does not match the certificate

Fields

§cert: PathBuf

--tls-cert

§key: PathBuf

--tls-key

§source: BoxError

What went wrong

§

Setup(BoxError)

The TLS library refused the protocol versions; a bug rather than a configuration error
