pub struct DeviceEvicted { /* private fields */ }Expand description
The device-backed externalization of a session’s evicted state (C-3, lossy).
Wraps the pure core’s structural Externalized handle with the bytes
of the detached blocks — one [block_size · Hkv · D] f32 vector per
externalized logical slot, per layer, for K and V. The core is byte-free by
design (move-ready), so the device layer is where the block contents live
while a session is suspended. Never carries a recompute instruction (Q9): it
is externalized state, restorable as-is into fresh physical blocks.
Implementations§
Source§impl DeviceEvicted
impl DeviceEvicted
Sourcepub fn covers(&self) -> &[StateKind]
pub fn covers(&self) -> &[StateKind]
The categories of state this handle covers (delegates the core handle’s enumeration — the Q9 completeness gate).
Sourcepub fn saved_block_count(&self) -> usize
pub fn saved_block_count(&self) -> usize
Number of blocks whose bytes this handle carries (the exclusive, actually-detached blocks — shared blocks stay resident and aren’t here).
