pub enum PlanValidity {
Valid,
AllocationChanged,
Stale,
}Expand description
Whether a held plan may serve a step, and if not, why not — one set of
comparisons, so the “is it valid” and “is only the allocation different”
questions cannot drift apart. DecodeSession::is_valid_for is a thin
view over this.
Variants§
Valid
Reuse the plan as-is.
AllocationChanged
Everything the plan bakes still matches except which KV allocation
it is welded to. A guarded DecodeSession::rebind_kv may rescue
it; without one, the plan MUST NOT be reused — that is GAP-014.
Stale
Something structural differs (shape, layer count, dtype, or the model itself). Rebuild.
