NodeRemap

Struct NodeRemap

Source
pub struct NodeRemap { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

The old → new NodeId mapping produced by compact.

Indexed by the old NodeId: old_to_new[old.0] is Some(new) if the node survived compaction, or None if it was dropped as unreachable debris. Callers use NodeRemap::get to translate roots / NodeHandle ids they still hold; passes that know a node must have survived use NodeRemap::expect.

Implementations§

Source§

impl NodeRemap

Source

pub fn get(&self, old: NodeId) -> Option<NodeId>

The new id for old, or None if old was dropped (or is out of range of the pre-compaction arena).

Source

pub fn survived(&self, old: NodeId) -> bool

Whether old survived compaction.
