Expand description

A registration failure — never a panic (build-time validation).

Variants§

§

NonContiguousBinds(Vec<u8>)

The region’s bind indices don’t form a contiguous [0, n) (the op’s external inputs).

§

UnRepresentable(OpTag)

The region carries an op with no primitive re-emission (outside the v1 re-emit vocabulary) — it could not decompose, so we refuse to register it (the totality guard).

§

NonConcreteRegion

The region contains a matcher-only node (Any/SeeThrough) — a concrete region must be Op/Bind only.

§

IdSpaceExhausted

The runtime id space (u16 above RUNTIME_FUSED_BASE) is exhausted.

§

InvalidRelAttrs

A shape-relative attr (D2) that can never resolve at ANY shape — a STRUCTURAL authoring error caught at registration: a rel field and its concrete sibling both set, a bind reference outside the region’s bind space, axis_last on an axis-less tag, or a Param reference (no param threading until C-4). Value-dependent declines (a Negative or symbolic-extent result at some particular shape) do NOT reject registration — they surface at emit time as a decompose fixpoint (G2).
