CompressionService

Struct CompressionService

Source
pub struct CompressionService<S> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

The compression service. Responsible for subscribing to the l2 block stream, perform compression of the block, and store the compressed block. We don’t need to share any data between this task and anything else yet(?) perhaps we want to expose a way to get the registry root

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl<S> RunnableTask for CompressionService<S>

Source§

async fn run(&mut self, watcher: &mut StateWatcher) -> TaskNextAction

This function should contain the main business logic of the service task. It will run until the service either returns false, panics or a stop signal is received. If the service returns an error, it will be logged and execution will resume. This is intended to be called only by the ServiceRunner. Read more
Source§

async fn shutdown(self) -> Result<()>

Gracefully shutdowns the task after the end of the execution cycle.
