MacroPlayback

Struct MacroPlayback

Source
pub struct MacroPlayback { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Deterministic playback scheduler with speed and looping controls.

Invariants:

  • Event order is preserved.
  • elapsed is monotonic for a given advance sequence.
  • No events are emitted without their cumulative delay being satisfied.

Failure modes:

  • If total duration is zero and looping is enabled, looping is ignored to avoid infinite emission within a single advance call.

Implementations§

Source§

impl MacroPlayback

Source

pub fn new(input_macro: InputMacro) -> Self

Create a new playback scheduler for the given macro.

Source

pub fn set_speed(&mut self, speed: f64)

Set playback speed (must be finite and positive).

Source

pub fn with_speed(self, speed: f64) -> Self

Fluent speed setter.

Source

pub fn set_looping(&mut self, looping: bool)

Enable or disable looping.

Source

pub fn with_looping(self, looping: bool) -> Self

Fluent looping setter.

Source

pub fn speed(&self) -> f64

Get the current playback speed.

Source

pub fn position(&self) -> usize

Get current playback position (event index).

Source

pub fn elapsed(&self) -> Duration

Get elapsed virtual time.

Source

pub fn is_done(&self) -> bool

Check if playback is complete (non-looping).

Source

pub fn reset(&mut self)

Reset playback to the beginning.

Source

pub fn advance(&mut self, delta: Duration) -> Vec<Event>

Advance playback time and return any events now due.
