Layout (40 bytes, little-endian integer fields):

• magic[4]
• version: u32
• segment_id: u64
• epoch_id: u64
• created_at: u64
• header_xxh3: u64 (hash of preceding 32 bytes)

Fields

segment_id: u64

Monotonic segment identifier (matches filename).

epoch_id: u64

ECS coordination epoch at segment creation.

created_at: u64

Segment creation timestamp (unix_ns).
