Variants

NotJournaled

The volume header’s journaled bit is clear — there is no journal.

ExternalJournal

The journal lives on an external device, which is out of scope.

BadMagic(u32)

The journal header magic did not match either accepted value.

BadEndian(u32)

The endian field matched neither byte order.

OutOfRange(String)

A structure was shorter than required, or a field pointed out of range.

CorruptTransaction

A transaction’s block-list-header checksum did not verify.
