IconView

Struct IconView

Source
pub struct IconView { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A declarative icon. See the module docs.

Not generic over app state — an icon carries no callbacks, so like ImageView it implements View<State> for every State.

Implementations§

Source§

impl IconView

Source

pub fn size(self, size: f64) -> Self

Set the icon’s side length, in logical px (default 24.0). The design box is scaled uniformly to this size at paint time.

Source

pub fn color(self, color: Color) -> Self

Set an explicit icon color, overriding the theme’s default on_surface (explicit builder value wins — see the module docs).

Source

pub fn label(self, label: impl Into<String>) -> Self

Attach an accessible label, contributing a Role::Image semantics node (an unlabelled icon is decorative and reports nothing).

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl<State: 'static> View<State> for IconView

Source§

type Element = IconWidget

The retained widget this view produces.
Source§

fn build(&self, _ctx: &mut BuildCtx<'_>) -> IconWidget

Materialise a fresh widget for this view.
Source§

fn rebuild( &self, prev: &Self, element: &mut IconWidget, _ctx: &mut BuildCtx<'_>, ) -> ChangeFlags

Reconcile prev (the previous view of the same type) against the live element, mutating it in place and reporting what changed.
Source§

fn teardown(&self, _element: &mut Self::Element, _ctx: &mut BuildCtx<'_>)

Tear down element when this view is being removed. Read more
Source§

fn message(&self, _element: &mut Self::Element, _state: &mut State)

Deliver an event message to this view, mutating application state. Read more
