FlexView

Struct FlexView

Source
pub struct FlexView<State>
where State: 'static,
{ /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A declarative flex container. See the module docs.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<State> FlexView<State>
where State: 'static,

Source

pub fn new(direction: Axis, children: Vec<FlexChild<State>>) -> FlexView<State>

Create a flex laying children out along direction, cross-aligned to the start and main-aligned to the start.

Source

pub fn child<V>(self, view: V) -> FlexView<State>
where V: View<State>,

Append an inflexible child. Accepts any View; erasure happens internally, so no any() is needed.

Source

pub fn flex<V>(self, flex: u32, view: V) -> FlexView<State>
where V: View<State>,

Append a flexible child taking flex proportional shares of the free main-axis space.

Source

pub fn keyed<V>(self, key: impl Into<ChildKey>, view: V) -> FlexView<State>
where V: View<State>,

Append an inflexible child tagged with a stable ChildKey (see keyed for the reconciliation semantics and the all-or-nothing rule).

Source

pub fn children<M>(self, children: impl ViewSeq<State, M>) -> FlexView<State>

Append every element of children as an inflexible child.

Accepts any ViewSeq: a Vec/array of views, a tuple of mixed view types, an Option, nested sequences, or views(iter) for an iterator. Tuples are positional: a None element drops its slot and nested sequences flatten in order. For a keyed list use FlexView::keyed per child (the all-or-nothing rule of keyed still applies; a tuple does not carry keys).

Source

pub fn push(self, child: FlexChild<State>) -> FlexView<State>

Append a pre-built FlexChild (escape hatch for flexible / inflexible / keyed values built elsewhere).

Source

pub fn when( self, cond: bool, f: impl FnOnce(FlexView<State>) -> FlexView<State>, ) -> FlexView<State>

Apply f to the builder only when cond is true.

Source

pub fn when_some<T>( self, opt: Option<T>, f: impl FnOnce(FlexView<State>, T) -> FlexView<State>, ) -> FlexView<State>

Apply f with the contained value when opt is Some.

Source

pub fn cross_axis(self, cross: CrossAxisAlignment) -> FlexView<State>

Set the cross-axis alignment.

Source

pub fn main_axis(self, main: MainAxisAlignment) -> FlexView<State>

Set the main-axis alignment.

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl<State> View<State> for FlexView<State>
where State: 'static,

Source§

type Element = FlexWidget

The retained widget this view produces.
Source§

fn build(&self, ctx: &mut BuildCtx<'_>) -> FlexWidget

Materialise a fresh widget for this view.
Source§

fn rebuild( &self, prev: &FlexView<State>, element: &mut FlexWidget, ctx: &mut BuildCtx<'_>, ) -> ChangeFlags

Reconcile prev (the previous view of the same type) against the live element, mutating it in place and reporting what changed.
Source§

fn teardown(&self, element: &mut FlexWidget, ctx: &mut BuildCtx<'_>)

Tear down element when this view is being removed. Read more
Source§

fn message(&self, _element: &mut Self::Element, _state: &mut State)

Deliver an event message to this view, mutating application state. Read more

impl<T> Downcast for T
where T: Any,

Source§

fn into_any(self: Box<T>) -> Box<dyn Any>

Source§

fn into_any_rc(self: Rc<T>) -> Rc<dyn Any>

Convert Rc<Trait> (where Trait: Downcast) to Rc<Any>. Rc<Any> can then be further downcast into Rc<ConcreteType> where ConcreteType implements Trait.
Source§

fn as_any(&self) -> &(dyn Any + 'static)

Convert &Trait (where Trait: Downcast) to &Any. This is needed since Rust cannot generate &Any’s vtable from &Trait’s.
Source§

fn as_any_mut(&mut self) -> &mut (dyn Any + 'static)

Convert &mut Trait (where Trait: Downcast) to &Any. This is needed since Rust cannot generate &mut Any’s vtable from &mut Trait’s.
