Expand description

What cutting a command range out of a scene did — the bracket rule of the overlay spike, reported so a caller (and a test) can see what a cut cost.

See project_command_range for the rule itself.

Fields§

§start: usize

The first command index the projection carried, after clamping.

§end: usize

One past the last command index the projection carried, after clamping.

§reopened: usize

Brackets open at start that were reopened ahead of the range.

§closed: usize

Brackets still open at end that were closed after the range.

§demoted_retained: usize

PushRetained brackets spanning a cut, painted inline (their presentation scale folded into the body’s transforms and their alpha as a plain layer) rather than recorded as a page.

§dropped_draw_retained: usize

DrawRetaineds dropped under keep_draw_retained: false.

§dropped_pops: usize

Pops inside the range with no open bracket of their own kind — already ignored by every renderer, so dropped rather than carried.
