Defaults for MenuBar: the bar, the words on it, and the menus it opens
(milestone 636).
Unset, a bar on a desktop theme (Linux, macOS, Windows) is a desktop’s — 30 px tall, 13 px words 8 px either side, a rounded highlight on the word under the pointer and on the word whose menu is open — and on a phone’s theme it keeps the 48 px a finger needs.
Fields§
§height: Option<f32>How tall the bar is.
background: Option<Color>The bar’s surface. Unset, surface_container.
padding: Option<Insets>The room at the bar’s ends, around the row of words.
item_padding: Option<Insets>The room either side of a word.
text_style: Option<TextStyle>The words’ type.
foreground: Option<Color>The words’ colour. Unset, on_surface.
highlight: Option<Color>The highlight behind the word under the pointer, and behind the word whose menu is
open. Unset, on_surface over the bar, at 8 % and 12 %.
item_radius: Option<f32>The highlight’s corners.
item_inset: Option<f32>The room the highlight keeps above and below it, inside the bar.
The menus the bar opens. What this says outranks the desktop’s menus and then the
application’s MenuTheme.
