Defaults for AppBar.

Fields§

§center_title: Option<bool>

Whether the title is centred. Unset, the platform’s convention decides, which is the one place the framework’s last word is a system convention rather than a taste of its own.

§title_style: Option<TextStyle>

The title’s type.

§background: Option<Color>

The bar’s surface.

§foreground: Option<Color>

What is drawn on it — the title’s colour.

§elevation: Option<f32>

How far off the page the bar sits. Unset, the bar is flat, as the reference’s is.

§height: Option<f32>

The toolbar’s height.

§shadow_color: Option<Color>

The colour of the shadow an elevated bar casts. Unset, transparent, as the reference’s app bar defaults are (line 2542): a shadow is cast only where a colour is named.

§surface_tint: Option<Color>

The colour laid over the surface in proportion to the elevation — Material 3’s way of showing height, and the one that still reads on a dark background.

§shape: Option<ShapeBorder>

What shape the bar is — the reference’s AppBarTheme.shape. Unset, square.

It was an Option<BorderRadius> under this name until milestone 455: the last theme field left carrying the reference’s word with a corner radius behind it.
