Where the floating action button sits.

Two questions, and they are independent: which end of the row, and whether the button floats clear of the bottom bar or docks astride its top edge. The docked placements are the ones a notched bottom bar is cut for.

StartFloat

Leading end, clear of the bar.

CenterFloat

Centred, clear of the bar.

EndFloat

Trailing end, clear of the bar — the default, and where a thumb reaches.

StartDocked

Leading end, centred on the bar’s top edge.

CenterDocked

Centred on the bar’s top edge, horizontally centred.

EndDocked

Trailing end, centred on the bar’s top edge.
