An entry written as given (slice 7d): bytes go into the file under method, and crc and size describe the uncompressed content. A stored entry’s bytes are its content; an entry copied from another archive keeps that archive’s compressed bytes, method, CRC and size, so the copy is byte-exact without decoding.
