FrameRate

Struct FrameRate

Source
pub struct FrameRate { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A frame rate represented as a fraction (numerator/denominator).

This allows exact representation of fractional frame rates like NTSC (30000/1001 ≈ 29.97 fps).

Implementations§

Source§

impl FrameRate

Source

pub const FILM: Self

24 fps - Film.

Source

pub const FPS_30: Self

30 fps.

Source

pub const FPS_60: Self

60 fps.

Source

pub const NTSC: Self

29.97 fps (30000/1001) - NTSC.

Source

pub const NTSC_FILM: Self

23.976 fps (24000/1001) - Film on NTSC video.

Source

pub const NTSC_HIGH: Self

59.94 fps (60000/1001) - NTSC high frame rate.

Source

pub const PAL: Self

25 fps - PAL.

Source

pub const PAL_HIGH: Self

50 fps - PAL high frame rate.

Source

pub fn new(num: u32, den: u32) -> Option<Self>

Create a new frame rate from numerator and denominator.

§Example
use frame_tick::FrameRate;

// 29.97 fps (NTSC)
let ntsc = FrameRate::new(30000, 1001).unwrap();
Source

pub fn from_int(fps: u32) -> Option<Self>

Create an integer frame rate (e.g., 24 fps = 24/1).

Source

pub fn num(&self) -> u32

Get the numerator.

Source

pub fn den(&self) -> u32

Get the denominator.
