Tracks the current state of the JSON stream. Streams start in Running state and can transition to Paused or terminal states (Completed, Failed).

Running

Background task is actively reading from Postgres

Background task is paused (suspended, connection alive)

Completed

Query completed normally

Failed

Query failed with error
