Errors that occur when communicating with external integration services such as search engines, caches, or message queues.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Search
A search provider (e.g. Elasticsearch, Typesense) returned an error.
Fields
Cache
An error occurred while reading from or writing to an external cache (e.g. Redis).
Queue
An error occurred while interacting with a message queue or broker
(e.g. RabbitMQ, NATS).
ConnectionFailed
A network connection to an external service could not be established.
Timeout
An operation against an external service did not complete within the allowed time budget.
