The source is flattened, so a mapping is one flat table in both JSON and TOML:

Flat is what lets [session_variables] be declared in fraiseql.toml against this exact type, rather than through a CLI-side mirror struct — and a mirror struct at a producer↔consumer seam is how declarations get silently dropped (#806/#807/#758).
