Expand description

Errors that can occur during subscription operations.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

SubscriptionNotFound(String)

Subscription type not found in schema.

§

AuthenticationRequired(String)

Authentication required for subscription.

§

Forbidden(String)

User not authorized for subscription.

§

InvalidVariables(String)

Invalid subscription variables.

§

UnresolvableFilter(String)

A filter references an argument the subscription does not declare (#1262).

The client sends its variables under the declared GraphQL argument names, so such a condition can never be matched — and a condition whose variable is absent is skipped by design, because that is how an unsupplied optional argument behaves. Left alone the two are indistinguishable and the subscription fails open, delivering every event on its topic. Refused at subscribe instead. fraiseql compile rejects the same shape, so this is reachable only through a hand-edited compiled schema.

§

AlreadyExists(String)

Subscription already exists.

§

NotActive(String)

Subscription not active.

§

Internal(String)

Internal subscription error.

§

SendError(String)

Channel send error.

§

DatabaseConnection(String)

Database connection error.

§

ListenerAlreadyRunning

Listener already running.

§

ListenerNotRunning

Listener not running.

§

InvalidNotification(String)

Failed to parse notification payload.

§

DeliveryFailed

Failed to deliver event to transport.

Fields

§transport: String

Transport that failed.

§reason: String

Reason for failure.
