Sleepable

Enum Sleepable

Source
pub enum Sleepable {
    Timable(DurationWaker<Entry>),
    Atomic(Arc<AtomicBool>, Entry),
    Readiness(EventReadinessPtr, Entry),
}
Expand description

Sleepable defines specific holders that help indicate the readiness of a task via it’s entry.

Variants§

§

Timable(DurationWaker<Entry>)

Timable are tasks that can sleep via duration and will communicate their readiness using when a duration and time is expired/over.

§

Atomic(Arc<AtomicBool>, Entry)

Flag represents a task that connect a task with a AtomicBool signal will communicate when a giving task is ready.

§

Readiness(EventReadinessPtr, Entry)

Readiness represents a task waiting on an arbitrary EventReadiness signal. The executor calls is_ready(None) to check without blocking.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Sleepable

Source

pub fn deadline(&self) -> Option<Instant>

Returns the deadline when this sleeper will be ready. For Timable sleepers, returns the Instant when duration expires. For Atomic and Readiness sleepers, returns None (no specific deadline).
